About the Department
Provides administrative support duties to Academic Support and Testing Services.
*Hours: 25 hours a week, Monday-Thursday (only), day shift.
Position Duties
- Assist students with the use of the tutoring schedule, materials, and technology and directs students to appropriate tutorial staff as well as campus wide services.
- Assist students with the sign-in process and tutors with data tracking software.
- Prepare service points at opening, secure materials at closing, and report technology and maintenance issues.
- Supports the clerical needs of tutoring by creating and maintaining departmental documents, schedules, and informational materials. Serve as the point of contact for Clerk related processes, including appointment scheduling and tracking initiatives, and training Clerks, as appropriate
- Responsible for updating the director on all service point issues to ensure quality services are being provided
- Assist with testing services processes as needed, to include scanning and entering documentation for testing exemptions, answering testing-related questions, scheduling appointments, processing paperwork for testers, and proctoring tests.
- Performs related duties as assigned
Minimum Qualifications
Education/Training/Work Experience
- High school diploma, GED or equivalent work experience required
- Six months directly applicable experience preferred
- Communication and computer skills
- Knowledge of office equipment
- Customer service experience
- Ability to multitask
- Attention to detail
- Ability to maintain confidentiality
- Ability to prioritize workload
- Ability to work within a team-oriented setting
