Position Summary

The Commercial Cleaner is responsible for maintaining cleanliness and sanitation standards at assigned client locations. This position performs routine janitorial duties, follows established cleaning procedures, and ensures facilities are clean, safe, and presentable.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Empty trash and recycling containers and replace liners
• Sweep, mop, vacuum, and maintain floors throughout assigned facilities
• Clean and disinfect restrooms, break rooms, kitchens, and common areas
• Dust furniture, fixtures, windowsills, and other surfaces
• Clean glass doors, mirrors, windows, and partitions
• Sanitize high-touch surfaces, including door handles, light switches, and handrails
• Restock restroom and facility supplies as needed
• Operate cleaning equipment and tools safely and effectively
• Follow account-specific cleaning schedules and company quality standards
• Report maintenance issues, safety concerns, and supply shortages to management
• Use company mobile applications and timekeeping systems as required
• Secure facilities when required by locking doors and turning off lights
• Perform special projects and additional cleaning duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Previous cleaning experience is preferred but not required
• Ability to work independently and efficiently
• Strong attention to detail and reliability
• Ability to follow instructions and safety procedures
• Reliable transportation preferred
• Must be authorized to work in the United States

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, and reach for extended periods
• Ability to lift, carry, and move up to 25 pounds regularly
• Ability to perform repetitive cleaning tasks throughout the shift
