Adjunct Instructor in German (Online) – Fall 2026 Department of English, Philosophy, and World Languages Arkansas State University

The Department of English, Philosophy, and World Languages at Arkansas State University invites applications for an adjunct instructor position in German, beginning Fall 2026. This is an online, part-time position with a teaching load of two courses per semester.

Responsibilities

The successful candidate will teach undergraduate German language courses at the elementary and intermediate level (German I–IV) in an asynchronous online format, depending on departmental need and enrollment. Responsibilities include course design and delivery, student assessment, timely communication with students, and coordination with the department as needed.
