Logistics & Work Environment:

This is a part-time position based at our Upstate (Greenville) branch, working in an office environment.

The hours will between 5:30pm - 9:00pm, working 10-20 hours per week.

A Day in the Life:

The Janitor will maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment by performing janitorial duties, including trash removal, restroom sanitation, and upkeep of conference rooms and common areas.

• Empty waste bins through the offices, breakrooms, conference rooms and restrooms, replacing liners, and ensuring proper disposal.
• Sanitize toilets, sink, mirrors, and fixtures; restock toilet paper, paper towels, and soap.
• Cleaning floors and surfaces
• Wipe down tables, counters, and chairs; dust surfaces; sweep, and mop floors.
• Monitor and restock cleaning and restroom supplies and inform supervisor when inventory is low.
• Follow proper procedures when handling chemicals.
• Report safety issues to supervisor.
• Other duties as assigned.

 

To Qualify for this Position, you must have:

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Comfortable using standard cleaning tools and equipment (broom, mops, vacuums, cleaners)
• Ability to work independently and follow a routine schedule.
• Strong time management skills to efficiently complete assigned tasks.
• Physical stamina to stand, bend, lift (up to 25 lbs.), and perform repetitive motions for the duration of the shift.
