About the Department
This position provides outstanding customer service to golfers and guests by managing tee-time reservations, processing transactions, assisting with merchandise sales, and providing information about course operations. This role supports daily pro shop activities, including inventory management, merchandising, tournament coordination, and opening and closing procedures. Availability to work evenings, weekends, holidays, and flexible schedules is required.
Position Duties

This position has responsibilities that require lifting up to 10 pounds on occasion.
- Greet golfers and guests in a friendly and professional manner.
- Check in golfers and process tee time reservations.
- Operate point-of-sale (POS) system and handle cash, credit card, and electronic transactions.
- Sell golf merchandise, apparel, equipment, food, and beverages.
- Answer telephone calls and provide information regarding course conditions, rates, events, and policies.
- Assist customers with merchandise selection and purchases.
- Maintain accurate records of daily sales and receipts.
- Restock merchandise displays and maintain inventory levels.
- Ensure the pro shop remains clean, organized, and visually appealing.
- Assist with tournament registration, scoring, and event preparation.
- Monitor pace of play and communicate course information to golfers as directed.
- Enforce golf course rules, regulations, and policies in a courteous manner.
- Assist with opening and closing procedures.
- Provide exceptional customer service to promote repeat business and positive guest experiences.
- Requires evenings, weekends, holidays, and flexible scheduling.
- Regular and dependable attendance is required.
- All other duties as assigned by a supervisor/manager within your department/division.
Minimum Qualifications
Any combination equivalent to experience and training that would provide the required knowledge, skills, and abilities may qualify. A typical way to obtain the knowledge, skills and abilities would be:
- Education: High School Diploma or GED.
- Experience: No experience required.
- Licenses: Valid Driver's License required.
- Certifications Required: No certifications required.
