Job Description

The Partner is responsible for business development and delivery in a vertical within ELIQUENT's overall portfolio management strategy. The Partner will work directly with their Managing Partner to own and deliver on a business development pipeline of ELIQUENT's service offerings. This role will be part of a broader team of client technical experts focused on developing key strategic client connections and converting project opportunities for delivery. Partners are considered to be experts in one or more of ELIQUENT's core consulting and services disciplines and should regularly work to keep abreast and informed of industry updates, regulations, challenges and opportunities.

    Core Functional Ownership for Portfolio Teams:
1)    New Target Prospecting:
•    Collaborate with Managing Partner (MP) on the strategy and plan for portfolio client prioritization
•    Gather and evaluate regulatory intelligence with research support from Client Engagement
•    Evaluate prospective clients against key business triggers
•    Map prospect key stakeholders (key buyers, decision makers, anyone else involved in the buying process)
•    Evaluate competitor landscape
•    Constantly revisit and revise portfolio prospecting plan to account for Tier 1 to Tier 3 targets with a focused outlook on pipeline
•    Present to Client Services Portfolio Account Team on regular basis to keep full team informed of key wins, opportunities and risks in the portfolio
•    Make client connections, based on reach-out plan
•    Deliver new business wins via sound and disciplined forecasting techniques and reporting; may be assigned a Revenue or Gross Profit target as a success metric


2)    Existing Target Prospecting:
•    Develop business development intelligence within target clients or leads
•    Become "in-flow" of meetings, project discussions
•    Further develop relationships through deep understanding of org charts, functions, sites, etc.
•    Share case studies to other parts of the business
•    Share topics/expertise to other parts of the business


3)    Project and Client Management:
•    Work with internal cross-functional portfolio account teams to deliver services to client companies, including on/off-site project and consultant management, in collaboration with the Client Engagement team.
•    May prepare and manage content development of RFPs, SOW and deliverables for client project bids, with support from the Client Engagement team. This includes evaluating, with the MP, the viability of new client work.
•    Effectively deploy and manage Validant resources (internal, external, functional) across multiple client accounts in the portfolio vertical, to ensure services are delivered on time with gross profit targets achieved.
•    SP may be, at times, billable on client projects in an effort to ensure client satisfaction and project deliverables are on time and in scope. The SP is a critical part of the full portfolio account team responsible for full project success.
