About the Role 
Frieze is seeking a highly motivated Partnerships Manager to lead on managing key stakeholder relationships and partner delivery across our US fairs: Frieze Los Angeles, Frieze New York, EXPO Chicago and The Armory Show. This role sits at the heart of the Partnerships team and is responsible for managing partner relationships and ensuring the successful execution of contractual benefits. The successful candidate will work cross-functionally with teams across Frieze, The Armory Show, and EXPO Chicago to deliver exceptional partnership experiences while identifying and securing new business opportunities. 
Frieze is the leading global organization for art and culture, producing internationally acclaimed fairs in London, New York, Los Angeles, Seoul and Abu Dhabi, alongside Frieze Masters, The Armory Show and EXPO Chicago, as well as a year-round programme of editorial, events and partnerships. 
Location: New York, NY (Hybrid) Employment Type: Full-Time 
We are seeking a Partnerships Manager with proven experience delivering complex and ambitious projects, both at physical events and digitally, while supporting the wider Commercial team with new business efforts. This is a mid-level commercial and operational role at the heart of Frieze’s Commercial Department in New York. You'll sit within the US Partnerships team, working closely with the Head of Partnerships, US and your work will have direct impact on commercial efforts and the success of our fairs. You will be an excellent communicator and highly organized, with a focus on quality execution and delivery.  
This is a cross-functional position for someone who thrives on driving results and solving complex problems. If you're energized by arts and culture — and you know how to bring brands into that — this role was built for you. 
This is a full-time and qualified candidates must be based in New York. You'll be part of a hybrid team that values both connection and flexibility. We'll cover the details of our hybrid schedule during the interview process. 
The salary range for this role is: $86,000 

What Success Looks Like 
  • Be the lead contact at Frieze forkey partners acrossTheArmoryShow,EXPOCHICAGO and Frieze New York– building strong relationships with theclientsandinternal departments to ensure we deliver the highest qualitypartnerships
  • Maintain strong renewal rates among existing partners through exceptional account management and partnership delivery
  • Manageinternal tracking documents related to sponsorswith the support of the Partnerships Assistant, ensuring smooth delivery of all contractual benefits
  • Successfully managecontractrenewalswithexistingsponsors from drafting stage through to signingwith the support of the Head of Partnerships, US
  • Developand updateall salesmaterials to support thePartnershipsteam in winning new business, including general sales decks and specific proposals for brands on a case by case basis 
  • Support new business efforts throughmarket research and monitoring competitor landscape to generate sales leads 
  • Deliver all sponsor contractual benefits on time and to a high standard, receiving positive partner feedback.
  • Build trusted cross-functional relationships that ensure seamless execution of sponsorship programs and fair activations.

What You'll Own 
  • Lead day-to-day management of assigned sponsor accounts across The Armory Show,EXPO Chicagoand Frieze New York
  • Liaise with other teams internally to plan and execute sponsored spaces at the fair, advertising campaigns and other partner benefits. This will include, but is not limited to, working with the production team regarding sponsor lounges at our fairs; the marketing team regarding email and social media marketing; the finance team regarding invoicing, the VIP team regarding audiences for our events and Frieze Studios, our creative team, regarding delivery of creative projects for our sponsors. 
  • Develop sponsorship proposals, sales presentations, and customized partnership pitches.
  • Prepare post-event reports showing the results of the partnership. Work closely with internal teams to gather data from digital, marketing, press, social media,VIP and programming teams.
  • Track sponsor activity, invoicing, reporting, and internal documentation.
  • Represent Frieze in meetings with sponsors, prospects, and key stakeholders.
  • Plan and oversee partner marketing campaigns, including email and social media activations.

What You Bring 
  • 3–5+ years of experience in partnerships, account management, or a related commercial role.
  • Experience delivering complex and ambitious projects, both at physical events and digitally
  • Strong presentation, negotiation, and communication skills.
  • Excellent project management, organizational, and administrative abilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively under pressure.
  • Experience inclient-facing roles
  • Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal skills 
  • Proactive and enjoys problem-solving
 
Desired skills: 
  • Experience working with luxury brands, major sponsors, media, events, or cultural organizations is preferred.
  • Knowledge of the art world
  • Marketing and social media experience
