Department: Parts & Fixed Operations



Position Type: Full-Time / Hourly



Reports To: Parts Manager



Job Summary



Crown Motors is seeking a dependable, self-motivated Parts Delivery Driver to join our team. This role is foundational to our dealership's daily flow, serving as the connective tissue between our parts department, regional service shops, satellite vendor locations, and wholesale clients. When you aren't out on the road delivering critical components safely and efficiently, you will be assisting our fast-paced inventory team with receiving, organizing, and stocking parts.

Core Responsibilities





  • Safe & Efficient Logistics: Pick up and deliver automotive parts, tools, and equipment to and from local suppliers, wholesale commercial accounts, and other dealership campuses safely and on schedule.




  • Inventory & Warehouse Support: Assist the parts team with checking in daily stock orders, sorting inventory, and pulling parts for service technicians or client deliveries.




  • Documentation & Verifications: Ensure invoices match the parts being loaded into the vehicle. Maintain accurate logs of daily pickups, deliveries, and incoming core returns. Collect signatures and processing paperwork cleanly upon delivery.




  • Vehicle Maintenance: Maintain the cleanliness and professionalism of the company delivery vehicle. Handle basic daily vehicle care, including refueling and immediately reporting any mechanical issues.




  • Team Collaboration: Communicate proactively with Parts Advisors and Service Advisors to prioritize time-sensitive "car down" parts deliveries and keep repair timelines on track.




  • Brand Ambassadorship: Act as the professional face of Crown Motors while out on public roads and visiting local wholesale client businesses.





Qualifications & Requirements





  • Driving Record: A valid California driver’s license with a clean, verifiable driving record is strictly required.




  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent.




  • Experience: Prior parts delivery, courier, or warehouse experience is preferred, but we will fully train an organized and dependable individual.




  • Skills: Ability to read invoices, cross-reference part numbers, and basic comfort using basic tablet or computer systems for navigation and inventory tracking.




  • Professionalism: Punctual, reliable, and equipped with strong, friendly communication skills for client interactions.





Physical Requirements





  • Ability to lift, carry, and maneuver up to 50 lbs independently (e.g., heavy rotors, tires, batteries).




  • Ability to sit for extended periods while navigating Redding traffic, as well as stand, bend, and reach inside a warehouse environment.




  • Willingness to work in various weather conditions (both indoor and outdoor environments).
