Position: Parts Driver
 
Position Summary
As a Parts Driver you will play a critical role in ensuring that essential automotive parts are delivered efficiently and effectively to our clients and service departments. As a Parts Driver, you will be responsible for transporting various automotive components, ensuring timely delivery while adhering to company policies and safety protocols. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of the logistics involved in automotive parts distribution and a commitment to exceptional customer service. In addition to driving responsibilities, you will be required to assist with inventory management and maintain accurate records of deliveries made. Your ability to communicate effectively and navigate local areas will play a vital role in providing superior service to our customers. Essential Duties and Responsibilities
The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:
  • Transport automotive parts to various locations in a timely manner.
  • Load and unload parts from vehicles, ensuring proper handling and storage procedures.
  • Maintain accurate delivery records and logs for all parts transported.
  • Communicate effectively with team members and customers regarding delivery schedules and any potential issues.
  • Assist in inventory management and stock organization as required.
  • Conduct routine vehicle inspections and report any maintenance issues promptly.
  • Ensure compliance with all traffic laws and safety regulations while operating a company vehicle.
Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities)
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record and a minimum of three years of driving experience required.
  • Previous experience in a driving or logistics role preferred.
  • Familiarity with automotive parts and industry terminology is a plus.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Positive attitude and high energy with willingness to go above and beyond.
