Primary Job Duties
- Reports to the General Manager of Parts, Base and Line
- Maintains knowledge of company manuals, policies, and procedures related to inventory management for Maintenance Base operations and associated Line, On-Call, Contract,and Substantial Maintenance Parts Departments
- Ensures proper inventory levels of rotable and consumable parts in accordance with established policies and operational requirements
- Oversees Parts department operations and ensures duties and responsibilities of Parts Clerks are performed in compliance with company standards
- Provides and maintains 24-hour, 7-day coverage of Parts operations to support maintenance activities
- Ensure rotables are shipped to appropriate outside vendors or in-house accessory shops for repairs
- Accounts for total inventory value and maintains accurate counts of both rotable and consumable parts
- Ensures accuracy of inventory under assigned responsibility, including monitoring fill rates and turn times
- Communicates with maintenance base shops to expedite processing and return of parts to stock
- Performs additional duties as assigned by the General Manager of Parts, Base and Line
Minimum Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Possess a valid, unrestricted state-issued driver’s license
- Have a High School Diploma or GED
- Pass a pre-placement background check and drug screen
- Legally authorized to work in the United States for any employer without sponsorship
- Parts experience at a base level required
- Previous supervisory experience preferred
- Work unsupervised and be a self starter
- Good attendance and a strong work ethic
- Strong teamwork skills
- Familiar with computer inventory programs
- Write clearly and develop standard practices
- Excellent communication and people skills
- Problem-solving and organizational skills are required
- Exercise good judgment in working with people
- Understand shipping and receiving procedures
- Familiar with applicable Federal Aviation Regulations

Physical and Other Requirements
- Lift 75 pounds routinely, with or without reasonable accommodation
- Requires extensive travel
- Proficient in typing
- This is not a Department of Transportation safety-sensitive position
