Position Summary

The role of the Patient Experience Coordinator II (PEC2) will be responsible for answering all patient calls, scheduling appointments, and collecting new patient information.  The PEC2 will schedule all patient visit types.  The PEC2 will be responsible for correctly scheduling in a patient center medical home (PCMH) manner and following all HCHC scheduling policies including refill and double-booking policies. 

Responsibilities

  • Answer phone
  • Correctly schedule patients for with either new or return visits for all services and locations.
  • Correctly collect new patient information
  • Correctly apply the refill protocol as needed
  • Correctly schedule double books per policy
  • Understand and support provider/patient panels
  • Serve as a backup to PEC1 as needed/requested
  • PEC2’s will be crossed training on all PEC1 functions to allow for cross coverage in the front office as needed.
  • Other responsibilities as assigned.
