Position Overview

 Timber Dental is seeking an experienced and patient-focused Patient Care Coordinator to join our team. This role is ideal for someone with at least one year of experience in a dental or healthcare front office setting who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about delivering an exceptional patient experience.

Tuesday OFF
Wednesday 7:30-5:30
Thursday 7:30-5:30
Friday 7:30-530

Key Responsibilities

  •  Greet and check in patients, ensuring a welcoming and professional experience 
  •  Answer phones and manage appointment scheduling to maintain a productive schedule 
  •  Verify patient information and maintain accurate records 
  •  Perform insurance verification and provide basic benefit breakdowns to patients 
  •  Collect co-pays, balances, and process patient payments 
  •  Coordinate patient flow and support the clinical team as needed 
  •  Follow up with patients regarding appointments and treatment 
  •  Maintain an organized and efficient front office environment 

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

  •  Minimum of 1 year of experience in a dental or healthcare front office role required 
  •  Experience with dental insurance verification and patient scheduling preferred 
  •  Familiarity with practice management software is a plus 
  •  Strong communication and interpersonal skills 
  •  High attention to detail and organizational skills 
  •  Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a team environment 
  •  Positive attitude and strong customer service mindset
