What is Pier 360?
Pier 360 (formerly CVAB) is a peer-run organization encouraging self-determination and self-sufficiency for people in mental health and substance use recovery. The heart of our agency is peer-to-peer support, as we are people in recovery who want to support others on their life's journey. Our Core Values, including Respect, Innovation, Courage, Responsibility, Welcoming, Curiosity, Empowerment, Genuineness, and Justice, drive Pier 360. All Pier 360 services employ people living in mental health and/or substance use recovery.

The Opportunity
Pier 360 is seeking Peers to provide peer support in Vancouver, WA. As a Peer Support, you will provide peer support services in various ways. The Peer Support- employment staff perform a wide range of tasks to support people living and directing their own recovery, healing, and wellness through the process of employment.

The Responsibilities
Provide quality peer support services in alignment with our Core Values and Core Competencies for Peer Workers in Behavioral Health Services (SAMHSA). Additional responsibilities include collaborating with all Pier 360 teams, facilitating groups, classes, and activities, and connecting peers with community resources. Peer Support-Employment performs a wide range of tasks to support peers living their own lives and directing their own recovery, healing, and wellness process. They also work closely with local businesses and other entities to develop employment opportunities. Peer Support-Employment will model competency in recovery, healing, and wellness.

The Qualifications
We are seeking positive individuals who take initiative, have demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively with others, are in recovery, and excel at supporting others in their pursuit of a better or different life. For this role, understanding how to navigate and use local employment services and systems is important. Having confidence in your ability to support others in creating stellar resumes and utilizing digital tools to empower participants to put their best foot forward is important.

The Benefits
$20–$ 27 per hour, depending on experience and other relevant factors related to the position. Comprehensive benefits package, including:
