Job Description

Working alongside our amazing team at The Quail, we are seeking a temporary Administrative Assistant to support our Peninsula Signature Events Department.

 

The ideal candidate should have excellent oral and written communication skills and be able to organize their work using tools like MS Excel and office equipment. Must also possess a willingness to learn the ins and outs of event planning and execution. 

 

Key Accountabilities

  • Responsible for all general guest services (phone, email and in person)
  • Provide direct administrative support
  • Communication Hub for entrants, VIPs, staff volunteers
  • Assist Event Staff in all aspects of interaction with operational departments
  • Maintain ticket site and assist with ticket communication

 

 

General Requirements

  • Must have availability from June-August
  • High School Diploma Required, College Degree preferred
  • Experience in catering and events coordination strongly preferred
  • Experience in hospitality industry preferred
  • Must be able to work early morning, day, weekend and holiday shifts as needed
  • Have excellent organization skills and can work well under pressure
  • Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment with a positive attitude
  • Have excellent interpersonal skills

 

Job Type; Temporary Internship 

 

Pay: $21.00 - $24.00 per hour
