Position Purpose



To provide education, training and increase sales and access to lifesaving PERS devices.




 



Required Qualifications




  1. High school diploma

  2. Preferred background in sales and customer service

  3. Some medical knowledge and background preferred but not required

  4. Preferred existing relationships with:

    1. Physician offices

    2. Home health agencies

    3. Senior living communities





Major Duties and Responsibilities




  • Educating patients, caregivers, and healthcare partners on the benefits of PERS devices.

  • Generate and manage leads through community outreach, referrals, and provider relationships.

  • Guide customers through the setup process.

  • Maintain consistent follow-up to drive conversions and retention.

  • Track sales activity and report performance metrics.



Additional Assigned Tasks




  1. Treats all customers with dignity and respect.  Promotes and protects all customers’ rights.

  2. Establishes a culture of compliance by adhering to all company policies and procedures.  Complies with standards of business conduct, and state/federal regulations and guidelines.

  3. Follows appropriate safety and hygiene measures at all times to protect customers and themselves.

  4. Maintains confidentiality of protected health information, including verbal, written, and electronic communications.

  5. Reports any allegations of abuse, neglect, misappropriation of property, exploitation, or mistreatment of residents to supervisor/Administrator/Abuse Coordinator.  Protects residents from abuse, and cooperates with all investigations.  

  6. Reports any occupational exposures to blood, body fluids, infectious materials, and/or hazardous chemicals in accordance with facility policy.  

  7. Reports work-related injuries and illnesses immediately to supervisor.

  8. As a condition of employment, completes all assigned training and skills competency.
