Role Overview

 

We are seeking a seasoned professional to lead our new business development initiatives, focusing on managing the end-to-end process of pitches and Requests for Information (RFIs). The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in business development within the media industry, strategy function exposure  and possess exceptional project management and communication skills.

 

Key Responsibilities

 

Pitch and RFI Management

  • Lead the development and execution of pitches and RFIs, ensuring alignment with client objectives and agency capabilities.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including strategy, creative, media, and analytics, to develop compelling proposals.
  • Oversee the creation of pitch materials, ensuring they are persuasive, accurate, and reflect the agency’s strengths.
  • Manage timelines and deliverables to ensure timely submission of all pitch and RFI responses.

 

Internal Coordination and Operations

  • Serve as the central point of contact for all pitch-related activities, facilitating communication and collaboration among internal teams.
  • Develop and implement processes to streamline pitch operations and improve efficiency.
  • Maintain a repository of pitch materials, case studies, and credentials for easy access and reference.

 

Market and Industry Analysis

  • Stay abreast of industry trends, competitor activities, and market developments to inform pitch strategies.
  • Conduct research to identify potential clients and new business opportunities.
  • Analyze client needs and market conditions to tailor pitch approaches effectively.

 

Client Prospecting

  • Build and maintain relationships with prospective clients, understanding their needs and positioning the agency as a strategic partner.
  • Orchestrate client meetings and presentations, effectively communicating the agency’s value proposition.
  • Collaborate with account teams to ensure a smooth transition from pitch to onboarding upon winning new business.

 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field; MBA preferred.
  • Proven success in leading and winning pitches and RFIs.
  • Strong understanding of media planning and buying processes.
  • Excellent project management skills with the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong analytical and strategic thinking abilities.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
