About TJM Labs
TJM Labs builds AI-driven automation that eliminates the repetitive, error-prone tasks slowing pharmacies down, so teams can focus on patient care. Our bots handle prescription intake, fax processing, insurance workflows, and more, helping pharmacies scale efficiently without adding headcount.
About the Role
TJM Labs is looking for a Pharmacist / Pharmacy Automation Engineer to own the translation between real-world pharmacy operations and the technical bot logic that runs them. This is not a support role. You are accountable for the accuracy of what gets built, the clarity of what gets communicated, and the outcome of every account you touch.
You will work directly with clients, engineers, and internal stakeholders, leading projects from workflow analysis through configuration, QA, and go-live.
Responsibilities
- Lead implementation and configuration projects end to end: confirm scope, build the plan, run kickoff, manage QA, go live, and hand off cleanly to support
- Map how a pharmacy operates today and design and improve logic that fits their workflow and delivers clear, measurable value
- Translate client needs into buildable engineering work: write precise tickets with acceptance criteria, flag edge cases, and keep the backlog prioritized and clean
- Own client and team communication, with full accountability for accuracy and tone
- Determine how technical issues are communicated to clients and how client requests are translated into engineering requirements
- Monitor the critical path on active projects, surface risk early, and meet milestones and go-live dates without compromising quality
- Resolve pharmacy-specific edge cases across multiple pharmacy management systems
- Evaluate completed implementation cycles and improve playbooks and internal processes on an ongoing basis
Requirements
Qualifications
- 2–5 years of experience in software implementation, project management, or pharmacy operations with direct project ownership
- Pharm.D., registered pharmacy technician credential, or substantial hands-on pharmacy operations experience
- Demonstrated ability to translate operational pain points into structured, buildable technical requirements
- Familiarity with pharmacy management systems
- Working knowledge of PHI handling and standard security and privacy practices
- Demonstrated ability to make sound, independent judgment calls and own outcomes
