Job Summary:
Provide patient-centered pharmacy support services with a focus on special populations. This role supports pharmacy operations through safe medication delivery, recordkeeping, customer service, and compliance with quality, safety, and regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Safely collect, transport, and deliver prescriptions, medications, and pharmacy-related materials
- Maintain accurate delivery logs, mileage records, vehicle inspections, and pharmacy statistics
- Support pharmacy audits and quality management processes
- Ensure compliance with medication handling laws, safety regulations, and standard operating procedures
- Maintain a clean, safe vehicle and practice responsible driving at all times
- Identify patients with medication concerns and refer them to a pharmacist
- Provide excellent customer service and represent the pharmacy professionally
- Attend required meetings, trainings, and comply with attendance and timekeeping policies
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid California driver’s license, proof of insurance, and reliable transportation
- Strong time management and multitasking skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Bilingual English/Spanish or Punjabi preferred (not required)
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift up to 25 lbs
- Prolonged sitting and driving
- Ability to read, hear, and communicate clearly
- Ability to use basic office and computer equipment
