Patriot Foundry, a prominent and expanding manufacturing firm, is on the hunt for a skilled Plant Manager to become a key member of our team in Franklin, NH. The chosen candidate will be responsible for all onsite operations including planning, production, purchasing, and product delivery. The position offers a competitive salary based on experience and qualifications. Additionally, a bonus incentive is in place, contingent upon objective performance metrics.

Day in the Life:

As a Plant Manager, your primary responsibilities will entail:

  • Developing production schedules based on due dates, material availability, staffing, and equipment constraints.
  • Overseeing manufacturing operations including purchasing, production runs, external operations, and shipping
  • Managing staff including training, providing support, and handling disciplinary action
  • Ensure equipment is kept in working order and arrange for regular cycles of preventative maintenance
  • Interacting with production and engineering staff to ensure quality issues are resolved and documented
  • Maintaining a compliant work environment in accordance with safety and environmental regulatory requirements
  • Completing documentation in line with ISO 9001 requirements including KPIs, inspection logs, nonconformances, and corrective actions

Requirements:

  • Understanding of metallurgy basics, metalworking principles, and nonferrous casting processes
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, work instructions, and technical documents
  • Knowledge of OSHA regulations, environmental compliance, and ISO quality systems
  • Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • Demonstrates adaptability and keen attention to detail.
  • Ability to perform physical duties such as lifting 30+ pounds, bending, twisting, and standing for long periods of time.
  • U.S. citizenship or documented residency
  • Be 18+ years old
