About the Role
The Plant Manager is a senior manufacturing leader responsible for overseeing operations across one or more facilities. This role ensures consistent performance, strong leadership practices, and execution of operational standards while developing high-performing teams.
What You’ll Do
Operational Excellence
- Lead plant operations to achieve best-in-class performance in safety, quality, delivery, and productivity
- Drive key metrics such as safety, efficiency, labor utilization, and on-time delivery
- Foster a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement
Operational Discipline & Controls
- Ensure adherence to processes, ERP accuracy, and internal controls
- Maintain inventory accuracy and transactional discipline
- Monitor performance and proactively escalate risks with solutions
Financial & Resource Management
- Develop and manage departmental budgets
- Align staffing with production needs while meeting cost targets
Leadership & Talent Development
- Build, coach, and develop high-performing teams
- Lead workforce planning, hiring, and retention efforts
- Support employee development and succession planning
Organizational Leadership
- Lead with a servant-leadership mindset
- Align cross-functional teams to achieve business goals

Job Requirements
Must Have:
- Bachelor’s degree (Engineering, Operations, Business, or related field) OR equivalent experience
- 5+ years of manufacturing leadership experience
- Proven ability to lead teams and improve operational performance
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
- Experience with Lean manufacturing principles
Nice to Have:
- Experience overseeing multiple departments or facilities
- ERP system proficiency
- Experience in high-growth manufacturing environments
Work Environment & Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand, walk, and perform physical tasks for extended periods
- Ability to lift up to 40 lbs occasionally
- Industrial environment with noise, dust, and temperature variations (PPE required)
