Kilgore Industries, one of the largest Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing subcontractors in the state of Texas is growing. The key to this growth is having the best team in the industry! We are looking for an experienced Journeyman Plumber who is looking to grow with the industry leader. If selected, you will be responsible for installing large-scale commercial plumbing systems and their associated components.
PRIMARY DUTIES:
- Installs PVC, cast iron, copper, PEX, and piping hangers
- Solders copper, pro-press, and solvent weld fittings
- Maintains the excavator to install underground piping
- Installs fixtures in commercial, institutional, and public buildings
- Manages and leads assigned Apprentices
- Maintains a clean and safe working environment
- Has a good understanding of how to operate the tools in a safe and efficient manner
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid Tradesman/Journeyman license
- Valid TX Driver’s License
- 3+ years of related experience
- Able to regularly lift 75 pounds
- Works well in a team environment, has great customer service skills, and neat appearance
- Commercial, multifamily, retail, industrial, and/or medical construction experience required
