Job Description

General Summary of Job Duties: The Pool Bartender will be responsible for providing efficient, fast, and reliable service to our guests while ensuring their satisfaction and enjoyment. The Pool Bartender will work independently and under the direction of the Bar Manager to mix, pour, and serve various alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to our guests throughout the pool area.

 

Principle Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Responsible for being knowledgeable of menu items, liquor brands, beers, and non-alcoholic beverages, as well as maintaining the appearance of the bar.
  • Set the stage for guest experience with a welcoming smile and service.
  • Create and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, incorporating ingredients according to standardized recipes and providing food service as needed.
  • Clean equipment, tools, and supplies and ensure equipment is in good working order, including, cleanliness, sanitation, and appearance of the bar.
  • Ring poured or served beverages, collect payment, and adhere to all cash handling and variance procedures, including preparing daily reports and submitting appropriate paperwork.
  • Provide Apprentice Bartender and Bar Porter with training and mentoring on the overall performance of the bar, guest service, and bartending.
  • Maintain bar inventory according to set parameters and internal controls, and request product to maintain stock in bar.
  • Other duties as assigned.
