Position Summary:
The Post Closing Loan Delivery Specialist is responsible for reviewing, preparing, and delivering closed mortgage loan files to investors and agencies while ensuring compliance with investor guidelines, agency requirements, and internal service level expectations.
This role works closely with the Loan Delivery Team Lead to manage delivery pipelines, resolve exceptions, and support the successful sale and delivery of mortgage loans. The ideal candidate possesses strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a solid understanding of mortgage post-closing operations.
Responsibilities:
- Review closed loan files for completeness and accuracy prior to investor delivery.
- Prepare and deliver mortgage loans to agency and investor platforms within established timelines.
- Work closely with the Loan Delivery Team Lead to manage daily priorities, delivery pipelines, and exception resolution.
- Review and clear delivery exceptions.
- Research and resolve loan data discrepancies and documentation deficiencies.
- Communicate with internal departments to obtain required documentation and facilitate timely loan delivery.
- Monitor assigned pipelines to ensure loans are delivered accurately and within required deadlines.
- Maintain accurate records and notes regarding delivery status and outstanding conditions.
- Support investor audits, certifications, and post-purchase requests.
- Utilize Microsoft Excel and internal systems to track pipelines, reconcile data, and support reporting needs.
Qualifications:
Required
- Minimum two (2) years of mortgage post-closing experience.
- Understanding of mortgage loan documents and post-closing processes.
- Proficiency in Microsoft applications
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a team environment.
Preferred
- Direct experience delivering loans to Fannie Mae and/or Freddie Mac.
- Understanding of Non-QM (NQM) Third-Party Review (TPR) processes.
- Experience working with correspondent and agency loan deliveries.
Pay Disclosure:
The starting base pay range for this position is $24.00/hr. The actual base is dependent on many factors such as: work experience, business needs, market demands, and other compensation components. The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future.
