We believe in fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement where every team member contributes to our mission of Building Relationships, Buildings, and the Future.

Position Overview

We are seeking a full-time, on-site Project Manager to join our team in Washington, Iowa.
This role is responsible for managing construction projects from start to finish — including planning, budgeting, coordination, and execution. The Project Manager ensures that each project is delivered safely, efficiently, and in alignment with Greiner’s quality standards.

Day-to-day, this position involves project planning, cost and resource management, progress monitoring, reporting, and maintaining communication between clients, field crews, accounting, and management. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and thrives in a fast-paced, team-driven environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan, organize, and oversee multiple construction projects from design to completion

  • Coordinate with clients, subcontractors, estimators, and field crews to ensure alignment and progress

  • Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and performance reports

  • Collaborate closely with the Accounting Department for job costing, invoicing, and change orders

  • Perform on-site visits to assess progress, quality, and safety compliance

  • Proactively identify and resolve project issues to minimize delays and cost overruns

  • Communicate updates and key milestones to internal stakeholders and clients

Qualifications

  • Proficiency in Project Management and Program Management

  • Strong planning, problem-solving, and analytical skills

  • Excellent communication and leadership abilities

  • Proficient with Microsoft Office and project management software

  • Ability to work on-site in Washington, IA

  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Business Administration, or a related field preferred

  • Construction industry experience strongly preferred

  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively in a team-oriented environment

Why Join Greiner Buildings

  • A culture rooted in integrity, teamwork, and craftsmanship

  • Competitive compensation and benefits

  • Opportunity for career growth within a respected regional leader

  • Be part of a company that values people as much as projects
