Position Summary

The Curriculum Coordinator plays a key role in supporting high-quality classroom instruction and ensuring consistent implementation of the Primrose Balanced Learning® curriculum throughout the school. This position works closely with leadership and teaching staff to ensure lesson plans, classroom materials, and learning environments are organized, prepared, and aligned with curriculum expectations.

The ideal candidate is highly organized, collaborative, and passionate about early childhood education. This role focuses on supporting teachers with curriculum execution, classroom resources, and instructional consistency rather than direct classroom teaching.

Key Responsibilities

Curriculum Implementation Support

  •  Conduct regular classroom walkthroughs to ensure curriculum is being implemented with fidelity and consistency. 
  •  Observe classroom routines, teacher-child interactions, and instructional delivery to identify areas needing support. 
  •  Partner with teachers to ensure weekly lesson plans align with school curriculum goals and learning objectives. 
  •  Provide real-time coaching and practical support to teachers on curriculum execution and classroom setup. 
Classroom Resource & Lesson Preparation

  •  Prepare and organize curriculum materials needed for upcoming lessons and activities. 
  •  Pull curriculum resources for classroom boards, displays, and teacher planning needs. 
  •  Ensure classrooms have appropriate materials, manipulatives, books, and supplies to support learning experiences. 
  •  Assist teachers in preparing engaging, age-appropriate learning centers and classroom environments. 
Resource Room Management

  •  Maintain organization and cleanliness of the school resource room. 
  •  Track, label, and manage inventory of curriculum supplies, educational materials, and classroom resources. 
  •  Monitor inventory levels and communicate supply needs to leadership in a timely manner. 
  •  Develop systems for checking materials in and out to ensure accountability and accessibility. 
Teacher Support & Collaboration

  •  Serve as a daily support resource for teaching staff. 
  •  Help teachers troubleshoot curriculum-related challenges. 
  •  Model best practices in classroom setup, activity preparation, and instructional delivery. 
  •  Foster consistency in curriculum implementation across all age groups. 
Quality Assurance

  •  Support school leadership in maintaining high standards for classroom excellence. 
  •  Ensure classroom boards, displays, and educational materials remain current and aligned with curriculum pacing. 
  •  Assist with school readiness, accreditation, and compliance efforts related to curriculum documentation. 
Qualifications

  •  Experience in early childhood education required. 
  •  CDA, Associate’s, or Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education or related field preferred. 
  •  Strong understanding of developmentally appropriate practices for infants through Pre-K. 
  •  Excellent organizational and time management skills. 
  •  Ability to multitask and manage multiple classrooms’ needs simultaneously. 
  •  Strong communication and collaborative skills. 
  •  Comfortable giving constructive feedback and supporting teachers positively.

Compensation: $32,000.00 - $38,000.00 per year
