Job Description
Overview

The Supply Ecosystem Team in the Microsoft Copilot Organization is building the next generation of Microsoft’s content ecosystem across MSN, Edge, Windows, and Copilot. Our work brings together trusted publisher and creator content, AI-generated experiences, and sustainable partner economics to deliver high-quality content experiences that inform, entertain, and build user trust.

We are looking for a Principal Product Manager to own the business and product systems that support content partner monetization, revenue share, and AI content economics. This role will work across Product, Engineering, Business Development, Finance, Support, and Operations to ensure our partner ecosystem is economically sustainable, operationally reliable, and ready for the transition to AI-native content experiences.

Microsoft’s mission is to empower every person and every organization on the planet to achieve more. As employees we come together with a growth mindset, innovate to empower others, and collaborate to realize our shared goals. Each day we build on our values of respect, integrity, and accountability to create a culture of inclusion where everyone can thrive at work and beyond.

Responsibilities
  • Define the product strategy and operating model for content partner monetization, including revenue share, compensation frameworks, and economic guardrails for new AI-powered content experiences.
  • Own the end-to-end partner revenue share lifecycle, from calculation and reporting through partner payout, with a focus on accuracy, transparency, and partner trust.
  • Partner with Engineering and Finance to improve revenue data systems, partner earnings experiences, and scalable reporting needed to support a growing global content ecosystem.
  • Model the business impact of new AI features, licensing models, and platform changes, helping teams make clear tradeoffs across partner value, margin, product velocity, and user experience.
  • Lead the content economics strategy for major platform transitions, ensuring partner revenue stability, supply integrity, and marketplace quality through periods of change.
  • Identify early signals of revenue risk, partner churn, supply gaps, or ecosystem degradation, and turn those insights into actionable product and operational improvements.
  • Drive cross-functional alignment across Product, Engineering, Business Development, Finance, Support, and Operations, representing the domain in executive reviews, partner discussions, and high-stakes decisions.
