Principal Product Manager – RF Collections

Role Description

We’re looking for a confident leader who can guide cross-functional teams in the creation of market-facing products that meet customer needs and grow ICEYE’s market share.

This role involves significant collaboration with ICEYE US and affiliate product management, engineering, sales and customer delivery teams through all aspects of the product development and delivery lifecycle.

Through that collaboration, this role is responsible for establishing and delivering world class RF collection products through an intuitive system that ensures customers can easily interact with the constellation and integrate our data and capabilities into existing workflows and analytics platforms. This role is highly focused on providing value to both domestic and international government agencies.

Active customer interaction and advocacy will be needed to understand and codify requirements, help to manage relationships with representatives within the customer’s organization, drive product improvements and competitive advantage for ICEYE US. The Product Manager will play the lead role in quantifying customer value to the product development organization, informing our overall product roadmap.


This person should be a highly technical leader with a proven ability to establish the product strategy for the full lifecycle of a product, from concept to release.

Responsibilities

· Fully understands customer use cases and creates product strategy that describes technical requirements, operational impacts and ROI

· Ownership of the Vision and Strategy for our commercial RF Collection product offerings

· Leads the full product lifecycle for our RF Collections line of business which includes refining the X-band product offering, guiding development prioritization, go-to-market strategy, and product release

· Develops/maintains the ICEYE US RF collection product roadmap, in collaboration with US engineering and affiliate Product management

· Deep understanding of the products and capability shortfalls; recommend and prioritize solutions to the US and affiliate Product organization leadership to inform future roadmap decisions

· Leads product launch checklist(s) and coordinates with the respective teams on OKR execution to ensure go-live readiness and high product reliability

· Generates and maintains product information and documentation for internal ICEYE US stakeholders and external customers

· Coordinates with ICEYE US and affiliate Marketing Leads to support and influence product marketing strategies

· Evaluates non-standard product offering/services and supports proposal development based on current and future capabilities

· Coordinates with the US regulatory teams as needed

· Supports customer adoption and education of current and future products offerings

· Up to 25% travel

Required Qualifications

· Must be a U.S. citizen with an active U.S. Government security clearance TS/SCI

· Master’s degree in a relevant field. Additional years of experience may be substituted for a degree

· Minimum of 10 years of related experience, preferably in a product development organization

· Demonstrated experience in product or program management including the release or delivery of complex or highly technical products

· Demonstrated experience with RF collection capabilities, data, analysis, or the utilization of these products

Preferred Qualifications

· Experience defining the Vision and Strategy for commercial or government-focused product offerings

· Product Management experience including roadmap development, prioritization across multiple internal and external stakeholders, release planning, and execution

· Experience with product launches including GTM strategy

Pay Range and Compensation Package

· The estimated base salary range for this role is $190k-$225k depending on experience

Physical Requirements

This position primarily works in an office environment. It requires the ability to sit or stand for long periods of time and frequent walking. Daily use of a computer, phone, office equipment and other computing and digital devices is required. Some travel may be necessary – the ability to travel by car, plane, train, bus, vessel, or metro, operate a motor vehicle and maintain a valid Driver’s License and/or effectively navigate public transportation is required.
