Job Description

THE POSITION IS 11 MONTH 


Qualifications



  • Post secondary training in office/business administration; A.S. preferred.

  • Three to five years' experience as executive secretary preferred

  • Strong organizational skills in coordinating details, maintaining information and records are essential

  • ability to work under pressure while managing multiple priorities

  • Advanced computer/keyboarding skills, including Windows 2000, Microsoft Word, Access, Excel, PowerPoint and e-mail required.

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

  • Strong business writing skills.


Job Duties



  • Provides clerical support for the principal to assure efficient operation of this office.

  • Greets visitors, students and employees, both in person and on the phone, to assess and meet their needs.

  • Prepares and processes correspondence, reports and other required paperwork.

  • Works cooperatively and interacts efficiently with other school departments.

  • Obtains, gathers, and organizes data as needed and puts it into usable forms.

  • Maintains a regular filing system including confidential employee files.

  • Operates computers, calculators, copiers and facsimile machines.

  • Performs other dutes as assigned.
