The Product Manager 2 is a key member of the iMRI Division product management team, responsible for owning and advancing assigned product lines within Cook Medical’s interventional MRI ecosystem. In partnership with Siemens Healthineers, the iMRI Division is at an active and accelerating stage of global commercialization. The iMRI Suite is entering new markets, designed for MRI device development is advancing, innovative technologies are being introduced, and clinical evidence is growing. This role operates at the intersection of product and portfolio strategy, cross-functional execution, and market development. This role requires deep product and procedural expertise, ability to collaborate and execute across a complex stakeholder environment (e.g. R&D, commercial teams, clinical, regulatory), extensive physician collaboration, and willingness to learn quickly and operate in a fast-paced environment.
Primary Function:
Assist in development of global product strategy and lead assigned iMRI Division product lines in alignment with specialty, division and company business goals, vision and strategy.
Manage total product life cycle (TPLC) of assigned iMRI Division product line(s) from idea inception to obsolescence.
Essential Job Functions/Duties:
Work closely with stakeholders within the Division and across functions (including R&D, Marketing, Clinical, Regulatory Affairs, Quality Assurance, Quality Engineering, Engineering, Operations, and other groups) to implement the strategy for assigned iMRI Division product line(s) and ensure consistency in priorities, policies, compliance, processes, structure, and projects.
Manage the financial health of product line(s) by setting appropriate pricing thresholds, managing margins and cost improvement opportunities, in collaboration with commercial business and other company teams.
Responsible for the availability and efficiency of assigned product line(s) within the TPLC; collaborate with functional teams and contribute to developing product retirement strategies when necessary.
Demonstrate and maintain an extensive understanding of relevant market trends, including iMRI procedure adoption trends including but not limited to diagnostic interventions and interventional oncology, global regulatory environment, clinical evidence, healthcare economics, and the Siemens platform and partnership developments,.
Develop and drive the product roadmap and pipeline for assigned iMRI product line(s), incorporating designed for MRI device development priorities, academic research or external technology partners, and Siemens partnership inputs.
Communicate with executive leadership regarding matters of significance to assigned product line(s). Collaborate with specialty and senior leadership to improve upon existing processes and systems
Collaborate with strategic marketing and R&D to identify and establish design input requirements and design features.
Engage directly with clinical investigators, key opinion leaders, and physician advisory board members to gather product feedback, establish clinical use cases, identify unmet needs, and inform evidence strategy for assigned product lines.
Support international market expansion for assigned product lines, including coordination with regulatory and clinical affairs on country-level registration strategies and working with commercial teams on market entry sequencing.
Responsible to develop short to mid-term (e.g., 1-2 years) plans and execute the annual strategic goals for assigned product line(s) containing drivers, limiters, and enablers.
Lead and complete large and complex projects in a timely manner for planned and unplanned product specific events including, but not limited to scientific conferences, international market registrations, product launches, backorders and recalls, through collaboration with strategic marketing, sales, commercial business, regulatory, R&D, and manufacturing.
Meet all deadlines for product related responsibilities such as business planning, product forecasts, etc.
May provide guidance, coaching and training to other employees across the Company
within area of expertise.
Meet deadlines and complete administrative tasks such as expenses, training, reporting, policy acknowledgements, etc. in a timely manner.
Within scope of responsibility, ensure all quality, regulatory, compliance and product specific
requirements are met.
Understand and be accountable for conducting Cook business with integrity and in compliance with applicable standards including Cook policies.
Required Experience:
College degree in related field and/or equivalent relevant experience.
At least 7 years relevant work experience, including but not limited to, product management, engineering/research and development, or sales within the medical device industry; background in interventional radiology, interventional oncology, MRI, or an adjacent imaging or therapy category strongly preferred.
Advanced degree (Masters or MBA or equivalent) may reduce the years of experience requirement.
Proven record of leading and executing large and complex projects or initiatives.
Demonstrates mastery level knowledge of applicable product line(s) and/or market.
Demonstrated ability to work across clinical, regulatory, R&D, and commercial stakeholders in a complex, cross-functional environment.
Experience managing product lines in an early commercial or high-growth phase preferred; comfort operating with ambiguity and building process where structure does not yet exist.
Preferred Qualifications:
At least 5 years of experience in Product Management or equivalent in the medical device industry.

Prior engagement with academic or external technology partners (e.g., co-development agreements, coordinated roadmap planning).
Physical Requirements/Work Environment:
Ability to travel internationally, domestically and weekends as needed up to 50%.
Work under general office environmental conditions.
