Applied Intelligence Office

The Applied Intelligence Office exists to apply AI to real business problems and deliver measurable results internally and externally. We are looking for someone who can take every day operational challenges and turn them into working AI solutions that improve speed, quality, and efficiency.

You will work directly with business teams and technical partners to identify where work is slow, repetitive, or complex, apply AI in a practical way, and deliver visible results within months. You will operate within a centrally supported function with executive sponsorship and direct access to business units, ensuring you can move quickly and focus on delivery. Your mandate is simple: use AI to solve real problems in the business and create tangible impact.

What You Will Do

1. Turn problems into use cases

Work directly with field technicians, monitoring teams, sales and back-office teams to identify high-friction workflows and translate them into clear AI use cases with defined inputs, outputs, and measurable success criteria.

1. Lead AI pilots

Own 1–2 pilots at a time (with support), define baselines and success targets, and work with engineering to shape and iterate solutions. Deliver working outcomes in weeks, not months, within a focused scope.

1. Drive adoption

Train and support users in real workflows, observe usage, and remove friction quickly. If a solution is not used, it is improved or stopped.

1. Own the value case

Track time savings, cycle time improvements, and usage levels. Build clear, credible ROI logic and communicate progress regularly.

1. Prepare for scale

Turn successful pilots into repeatable approaches, identify next countries or teams for rollout, and ensure solutions can scale across the organization.

1. Engage with the AI ecosystem

Stay current with capabilities from leading providers and frontier labs, test tools hands-on, and identify practical applications. You are expected to explore actively and bring forward ideas based on real testing.

Must Have Qualifications

• Strong understanding of our business and clients (must be very strong in at least one of these: field service, sales engineering, design, monitoring or sales)
• High ownership mindset and ability to operate in ambiguity 
• Strong problem-solving and structuring skills 
• You are not expected to be a programmer but are expected understand the basic ability to prototype solutions using AI-assisted tools (e.g., basic scripting, working with APIs, or building simple workflows)

Applied AI Capability

• Regular, hands-on user of AI tools 
• Demonstrated ability to apply AI to solve real problems (e.g., built or automated workflows, materially improved processes, or experimented beyond basic prompting) 
• Ability to show concrete examples of what you have built or improved using AI
