Job Description

Product Application Specialist

Air Distribution Technologies, Incorporated (ADTI) is seeking a Product Application Specialist to support Louver Customers by providing product knowledge, pricing assistance, and overall customer satisfaction throughout the process.

What You'll Do:

  • The successful candidate will work collaboratively with business development, production, and engineering personnel as a liaison in the support of the customer’s specific requirements and manufacturing capabilities.
  • This individual will communicate with potential customers and existing customers to define specific needs required for product compatibility and coordinate these requirements with other disciplines within the organization.
  • Additional responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, customer purchase order execution, internal pricing clarification with engineering for construction, addressing of customer concerns during fabrication, arranging for special freight and resolving of disputes regarding quality and/or incorrect invoicing of orders, while exercising discretion and independent judgement with respect to matters of significance.
  • Individual will review drawings, plans, schedules, engineering specifications, and other customer documents to develop and prepare cost estimates and provide submittal drawings.
  • The successful candidate will provide technical services to clients relating to use, operation, and maintenance of products.
  • Individual should expect to participate in continuous development of product and process knowledge through cross-functional meetings, plant visits, and product training seminars, or similar activities as required.
  • Other duties may be assigned.

What We're Looking For:

  • Associate’s degree required, Bachelor's degree preferred
  • 2–4 years of relevant experience in CAD design, application engineering, or similar
  • Proficiency in Autodesk Inventor and Microsoft Office tools
  • Ability to interpret technical documents, specifications, and drawings
  • Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and product applications

Preferred:

  • Experience in HVAC or related industries
  • Experience with ERP systems and pricing/cost estimation
  • Exposure to customer-facing technical support roles
  • Familiarity with competitive market analysis and product benchmarking

Work Environment:

The work environment is primarily in a professional office setting with standard office equipment and a climate-controlled atmosphere designed for productivity.
