Production Manager – Chuck-A-Rama Buffet Restaurants


Chuck-A-Rama is seeking a Production Manager for our Idaho Falls, ID location. This role is responsible for leading back-of-house operations and ensuring our guests receive fresh, high-quality food throughout the day. Successful candidates will work side-by-side with kitchen team members while directing daily food production, maintaining quality standards, and creating an efficient, team-oriented environment.

Benefits

  • Starting salary $60,000 to $62,000, based on experience and qualifications
  • In addition to salary, monthly paid bonus based on store performance

Requirements & Responsibilities

  • One year of management experience preferred, ideally in restaurant or food production environments
  • Lead and direct kitchen and production staff in a high-volume buffet environment
  • Ensure food is prepared fresh, consistently, and according to Chuck-A-Rama quality standards
  • Monitor food presentation, freshness, portioning, and production levels throughout service
  • Train, coach, and develop back-of-house team members
  • Assist with inventory management, ordering, and product rotation
  • Maintain cleanliness, organization, and food safety standards in all kitchen and prep areas
  • Advanced food safety knowledge; ServSafe certification preferred
  • Ability to work efficiently during peak business periods while supporting key operational positions as needed
  • Understand and manage food cost, waste, labor, and overall kitchen efficiency within budget guidelines
  • Ability to read and follow recipes, production guides, and operational procedures
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and teamwork skills
  • Basic computer skills and overall restaurant operations knowledge
  • Front and back of house experience is a plus
