Production Supervisor
Location: 897 Lancaster Pike, Quarryville, PA 17566
Work Hours: 2:00 PM to 11:00 PM, Monday through Friday

Buck Company LLC is currently looking for a motivated 2nd Shift Production Supervisor to join our team in Quarryville, PA! As a Production Supervisor, you will lead and support a team of production employees to ensure efficient operations, high-quality output, and a safe work environment. This role is ideal for a hands-on leader who thrives in a fast-paced manufacturing setting and is passionate about developing people and processes.

What You'll Do:

  • Supervise and coordinate production activities to meet daily output, quality, and safety goals
  • Promote a safety-first culture by ensuring adherence to company policies and procedures
  • Provide coaching, training, and performance feedback to hourly team members
  • Assign and prioritize work based on production schedules and operational needs
  • Monitor machines and equipment; identify issues and coordinate repairs as needed
  • Ensure team members are properly trained in job functions, safety practices, and equipment use
  • Participate in recruiting, interviewing, and onboarding new employees
  • Continuously look for opportunities to improve productivity, efficiency, and team performance

What We're Looking For:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Previous supervisory or leadership experience in a manufacturing environment preferred
  • Knowledge of foundry operations and equipment is a plus
  • Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • Mechanical aptitude and ability to troubleshoot basic equipment issues
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, hands-on environment
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
  • Ability to read and interpret safety guidelines, work instructions, and technical documents
  • Experience using basic shop equipment and power tools
