The Production Supervisor oversees safe, efficient, and compliant production operations, including chemical receiving, transfers, blending, packaging, and tanker washouts. This role leads Chemical Operators, ensuring adherence to safety, quality, and performance standards while promoting teamwork and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead daily production activities, assign tasks, and ensure smooth shift transitions
- Supervise, coach, and develop team members; conduct performance evaluations
- Ensure safe, compliant execution of all production processes
- Maintain accurate inventory and coordinate with Planning, Packaging, and Quality teams
- Enforce safety standards, conduct audits, and support environmental compliance
- Track KPIs, support process improvements, and maintain organized workspaces (5S/6S)
- Assist with bulk receiving, washouts, rail activities, and special projects
Qualifications
- Leadership experience in manufacturing or industrial environments
- Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
- Knowledge of chemical handling and safety regulations (OSHA, EPA, etc.)
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and ERP systems
- Associate’s degree or equivalent experience preferred
Schedule
- 2nd Shift: Monday–Friday, 2:00 PM–10:30 PM (flexibility required)
