Production Supervisor (Weekend Shift)

Key Responsibilities
- Lead and coordinate daily production activities in a fabrication environment
- Coach, mentor, and develop team members to drive engagement and high performance
- Maintain a strong presence on the shop floor to support employees and address issues in real time
- Champion safe work practices and ensure compliance with all safety standards
- Prioritize workflow to meet production schedules and customer commitments
- Uphold quality standards and ensure adherence to specifications
- Identify and implement efficiency and process improvements
- Hold team members accountable for performance, productivity, and attendance
- Encourage cross‑training and skill development
- Foster a respectful, team‑oriented environment
- Collaborate with scheduling, maintenance, and management to keep operations aligned
Required Qualifications
- Experience in a fabrication or manufacturing setting
- Hands-on background with:
- Laser cutting equipment
- Press brakes
- Welding operations
- Robotic welding systems
- Leadership experience as a supervisor or team lead
- Strong understanding of production processes, quality expectations, and safety practices
- Ability to motivate teams and drive results through accountability
- Excellent communication and problem‑solving skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with:
- Controlled Warehouse systems
- Infor ERP
- AS400
- Paycor (timekeeping/payroll)
- Prior leadership experience on weekend or alternative shifts
