Summary
100 YEARS OLD AND GROWING!
In 1925, Casper Merrill took the milk and cream from the family milk cows and made the “original” Ice Cream Nut Sundae on a Stick in a ten-gallon milk can. He sold them at the local 4th of July celebration, and people wanted more! Soon after, Casper developed his original FatBoy Ice Cream Sandwich, a much larger than usual ice cream novelty that earned its name. In the decades that followed, demand for our products spread nationwide and production grew to fill our world-class manufacturing facility.
Today, FatBoy is AMERICA'S #1 BEST SELLING ICE CREAM SANDWICH, along with a growing brand portfolio of premium ice cream novelties. Casper’s has also added the Jolly Llama brand, which offers a variety of dairy-free and gluten-free frozen treats. Now backed by Private Equity firm MidOcean Partners, our Company Headquarters are still located in the beautiful agricultural surroundings of Richmond, Utah, where the company began a century ago.
