Job Description
The Enrollment and Financial Services Department at West Valley College in Saratoga is seeking a talented Program Analyst to support Admissions and Financial Aid operations.

Located in the heart of Silicon Valley, West Valley College is known for its dedicated staff, inclusive environment, and strong commitment to student success. Under the direction of the Dean of Enrollment Services, the Program Analyst provides specialized technical expertise and program support in the administration of admissions, records, and financial aid services. Responsibilities include informing and advising students and their families on eligibility requirements; assisting with application completion and documentation; reviewing and evaluating student files; and ensuring accurate updates to systems and records. The incumbent analyzes program and student needs in accordance with federal and state guidelines, reviews special circumstance requests, contributes to procedure review and process improvements, and ensures compliance with regulatory standards.

The Program Analyst serves as a key technical resource for students, faculty, staff, and administrators by interpreting policies and procedures related to admissions, records, and financial aid services. Responsibilities include generating and analyzing reports; reconciling financial and statistical data; monitoring automated systems; troubleshooting issues; and coordinating solutions with information systems staff. The position also supports program development and compliance efforts, maintains timelines and communications regarding deadlines, and collaborates with campus and external partners to ensure effective program implementation. The ideal candidate demonstrates strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to equity and student-centered service.
