General Description:
Grant Associates is seeking a motivated and dynamic individual to fill the pivotal role of Program Director. The successful candidate will lead strategic initiatives, manage day-to-day operations, and cultivate a positive environment within the center. This position requires strong competencies in critical thinking, accountability, team building, emotional intelligence, developing/coaching, planning/organizing, and resilience. What You’ll Do:
  • Oversee program implementation with a focus on achieving measurable outcomes and demonstrating accountability to various stakeholders.
  • Lead and build a diverse team dedicated to providing high-quality service delivery.
  • Foster collaboration and teamwork between Career Services and Business Services teams for optimal performance.
  • Develop and implement strategic plans aligned with organizational objectives and new opportunities.
  • Efficiently allocate resources, manage budgets, and ensure smooth program execution through effective planning.
  • Demonstrate emotional intelligence in interactions with job seekers, staff, and various partners.
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders to build relationships and promote workforce development initiatives.
  • Communicate a thorough knowledge of workforce development through marketing, business partnerships, research, and promotion.
  • Analyze complex situations to make well-informed decisions that drive program effectiveness.
  • Evaluate programs, implement data-driven improvements, and focus on enhancing customer service and operational efficiency.
  • Identify opportunities for staff development and provide coaching to enhance performance.
  • Support continuous learning within the team to foster innovation and build a culture of growth.
  • Serve as an escalation point for customer complaints and ensure policy compliance for audit purposes.
  • Navigate challenges with resilience, maintaining focus on achieving long-term goals.
  • Lead by example in overcoming setbacks and fostering a positive work environment that encourages perseverance.

 What We Look For: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, operations, social services, communications, or related field required; Master’s preferred. Equivalent experience and relevant skills will be considered.
  • Relevant work experience, and at least two years of experience supervising five+ direct reports
  • Strong leadership skills with a demonstrated ability to thrive in environments with multiple stakeholders, frequent change, and diverse objectives
  • Experience managing large scale projects and driving change initiatives, including efforts requiring process mapping, design and rollout of new operating procedures
  • Excellent strategic thinking, operations, quantitative, communications and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to quickly adjust to changing priorities, tasks, or project requirements, and think critically to find solutions efficiently

Salary Range: $85k-$90k
