Position Summary
The Program Manager provides operational oversight of direct care staff and assists in the coordination of residential and/or community services for individuals with traumatic brain injuries and neurological conditions. This position partners closely with leadership to support staffing, training, compliance, scheduling, and quality outcomes.
Salary
$50,000 – $56,000 annually
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and support direct care staff operations
- Assist with scheduling and staffing coordination to ensure appropriate coverage
- Conduct routine staff coaching, training, and performance monitoring
- Support onboarding and orientation of new employees
- Ensure compliance with company policies, state regulations, and program standards
- Monitor documentation completion and operational workflows
- Assist with incident follow-up, corrective actions, and service quality improvement
- Promote a culture of accountability, professionalism, and person-centered care
- Collaborate with nursing, therapy, HR, and executive leadership teams
- Participate in audits, inspections, and operational reviews
- Address employee concerns and assist with conflict resolution
- Maintain a safe and supportive environment for persons served and staff
- Support continuous improvement initiatives and operational standardization
- Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree preferred; equivalent experience considered
- Minimum of 2 years of leadership or supervisory experience
- Experience in healthcare, behavioral health, rehabilitation, residential services, or human services preferred
- Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of staffing coordination and employee supervision
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and electronic systems
- Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record required
Physical Requirements
- Ability to sit, stand, walk, bend, reach, and lift up to 50 pounds as needed
- Ability to travel between program locations as necessary
- May have exposure to biohazardous materials and healthcare environments
- Ability to safely operate a motor vehicle
