This position supports the Project Manager and will partner with cross-functional teams to analyze business processes, identify opportunities for improvement, assist projects, and implement solutions that increase efficiency, reduce costs, and improve overall performance. The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, data-driven, and enjoys solving complex problems while working collaboratively with multiple departments.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Support Project Manager in planning, coordinating, and executing strategic and operational projects.
- Support Operations by utilizing Sage X3 system.
- Analyze inventory, production, quality, and operational data from Sage X3 to support business initiatives.
- Perform root cause analysis and recommend practical solutions.
- Assist departments with project implementation and process improvements.
- Review data for deficiencies or errors, correct any incompatibilities if possible and check output.
- Support organizational change management through communication, documentation, and training.
- Promote a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence.
- Develop Microsoft Excel reports, dashboards, and key performance indicators (KPIs) to support data-driven decision making.
- Maintain process documentation, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and work instructions.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and related software.
- Solid understanding of data systems, including data relationships.
- Understanding of process-management specifically in manufacturing.
- Meticulous attention to detail, high level of accuracy, and an aptitude for logical thinking.
Education and Experience:
- A High School Diploma or equivalent is required. Additional computer training is an asset.
- 2+ Years Applicable Experience using Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) Systems. Sage X3 is preferred.
Physical and Environmental Working Conditions:
The work environment for this role includes both office work and plant floor work. The conditions in the office will include time using the phone and the computer while sitting. The plant floor environment will expose this individual to regularly moving mechanical parts and forklifts. The environment is ventilated, air conditioned, damp, and with vibrations. Employees are required to wear the following protective equipment: hair net and steel-toed boots (or equivalent). Hearing protection is optional.
