ASR is seeking an experienced Project Manager to provide day-to-day project management for construction, renovation, and service projects across the USSS JJRTC campus in Laurel, MD, and remote ranges (Washington DC, Fort Meade/Fish & Wildlife, and FLETC Glynco GA). This role is designated as Key Personnel under the contract.
Responsibilities:
• Provide oversight of construction-related activities for contracts and day-to-day project management for construction and service projects.
• Coordinate with customers; perform schedule reviews and design reviews.
• Develop solutions to construction problems or existing conditions encountered in the field.
• Review contractor submittals for contract conformance.
• Aid the Contracting Officer or COR throughout acquisition phases, including answering offerors' questions and attending site orientation visits and joint contractor/government meetings.
• Draft technical responses to change orders.
• Prepare Statements of Work (SOWs) and Independent Government Cost Estimates (IGCEs) for new contracts and modifications.
• Ensure 100% compliance with deliverable deadlines (≤ 2 rework instances per quarter).
Qualifications:
• 10+ years of project management experience on commercial or Government construction projects.
• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent combination of technical training and applicable experience).
• Knowledge of software including Microsoft Office, scheduling tools (Microsoft Project/Primavera P6), and construction document management platforms, among others.
• Ability to communicate effectively with a diverse range of individuals.
• Ability to multi-task and prioritize in a fast-paced work environment.
• Qualified applicants must be a U.S. Citizen, able to pass a background check, and able to obtain and maintain a PIV card and Tier 4 Public Trust suitability determination.
• Project Management Professional (PMP) or other recognized project management certification. (Preferred)
• Government contracting experience, particularly with DHS, USSS, or other federal facility programs. (Preferred)
