Job Description

Position Summary

The OSP Project Manager is responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of Outside Plant (OSP) projects. The Project Manager will collaborate with cross-functional teams, clients, sub-contractors, and vendors to coordinate project activities, resolve issues, and drive project success. Additionally, this role will be responsible for providing guidance, support, and training to the project management team as well as tracking project metrics, reporting on progress, and making recommendations for process improvements.

Essential Functions:

● Define project goals and objectives and establish project timelines.

● Establish quality standards and procedures to ensure that project deliverables meet required specifications.

● Monitor project risks throughout the project lifecycle and take proactive measures to minimize impact.

● Provide regular project updates on project progress, issues, and risks with team members, clients, subcontractors, and clients.

Position Qualifications

Competencies:

● Knowledge of principles and practices of project management as defined by PMI, principles and practices of fiber specific projects, network deployments, or related fields.

● Experience with electric, telecommunications, or utility projects.

● Experience with managing OSP Fiber infrastructure cabling and communications projects. Including planning, design, coordination, and implementation from inception to close-out.

Skills and Abilities

● 5+ Years experience in project management, telecommunications, or utility supervisory role.

● Must have strong verbal and written skills.

● Must be organized, detailed oriented and personable.

● Telecommunications and/or Utility knowledge preferred but not required.

● Must have strong analytical skills
