Job Description

A. Job Responsibilities

The Project Manager is responsible for managing construction projects from inception through completion, ensuring all work is executed safely, on schedule, within budget, and in compliance with contractual and quality requirements. This role serves as the primary point of contact for clients and stakeholders and provides leadership to project teams to ensure successful project delivery and client satisfaction.

 

B. Job Functions

Summary of Essential Duties and Responsibilities

A. Lead and manage project teams to deliver successful construction projects.

B. Maintain accountability for project schedule, budget, safety, and quality.

C. Communicate effectively with clients, stakeholders, and internal leadership.

D. Manage documentation, procurement, and subcontractor coordination.

E. Promote Gregory Construction’s core values of Safety, Integrity, Communication, Excellence, and Determination.

 

C. Essential Duties and Responsibilities

(Other duties may be assigned)

A. Manage construction projects from preconstruction through closeout.

B. Serve as the primary point of contact for owners, clients, and stakeholders.

C. Establish and manage project budgets, cost codes, and financial controls.

D. Track project financial performance and implement corrective actions as needed.

E. Develop and maintain project schedules using scheduling software.

F. Create and manage required project documentation including submittals, RFIs, change orders, and correspondence.

G. Coordinate activities with Superintendents, Project Engineers, subcontractors, and vendors.

H. Procure materials, write purchase orders, and manage subcontract agreements.

I. Ensure compliance with safety regulations, company policies, and OSHA requirements.

J. Lead project meetings and provide regular progress reports to leadership.

K. Mentor and support project staff through training and leadership.

L. Support change management, claims resolution, and contract compliance.

M. Evaluate project performance and participate in post-project reviews.

N. Perform additional project management duties as required.

E. Education and Experience

A. Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred.

B. Minimum of five (5) years of construction project management experience required.

C. Strong knowledge of construction methods, scheduling, and cost control.

D. Proficiency with Microsoft Project, Procore, Bluebeam, and Microsoft Office.

E. OSHA 30 certification required or ability to obtain.
