Project Manager

Job Summary

The Project Manager is responsible for managing commercial and industrial project quotes and related materials for electrical contractors. This role ensures project details, costs, timelines, and documentation are accurately tracked and communicated from quote through execution. Success in this position requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while coordinating with internal teams and external partners.

Essential Functions

  • Manage commercial and industrial project quotes and material requirements for assigned electrical contractor projects.

  • Review construction plans, specifications, and submittals to ensure accurate material scope and pricing.

  • Track and manage project details, changes, and potential cost or schedule impacts.

  • Develop and maintain spreadsheets or tracking tools to monitor shipping schedules, milestones, and deadlines.

  • Monitor total quoted job costs to support margin accuracy and financial performance.

  • Ensure project timelines and deliverables are met by coordinating with sales, warehouse, and purchasing teams.

  • Communicate project updates, risks, and issues to branch managers and leadership in a timely manner.

  • Provide support to other Inline Electric Supply branches on an as-needed basis.

  • Perform other job-related duties as assigned by branch management or leadership.

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Management or a related field preferred.

  • PMP certification or prior project management experience preferred.

  • Prior experience supporting commercial or industrial projects preferred.

  • Valid driver’s license with an approved motor vehicle record.

  • Compliance with company drug-free workplace requirements.

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to sit, stand, or walk for extended periods throughout the workday.

  • Ability to listen, speak clearly, and communicate effectively in meetings, by phone, and electronically.

  • Ability to work in office and branch environments.
