Job Description

Your Job

Lead the launch of new medical products and manufacturing transfers, ensuring effective project execution from initiation through mass production release. You will be responsible for owning the project timeline, facilitating cross-functional collaboration, and ensuring full compliance with customer requirements and quality standards.

Our Team

You will be part of the NPI team at Molex Nogales, working closely with Engineering, Quality, Manufacturing, Planning, Purchasing, and other support functions. You will have direct interaction with customers and global sites to ensure agile execution aligned with business needs and the PBM philosophy.

What You Will Do

  • Lead and coordinate New Product Introduction (NPI) projects and production line transfers.
  • Define, manage, and track detailed project timelines for assigned programs.
    Coordinate the documentation and execution of validations (IQ, OQ, PQ, CSV, TMV, among others).
  • Ensure alignment and timely delivery of activities and deliverables across Engineering, Quality, and supporting functions.
  • Maintain direct communication with customers to meet their needs throughout product development and launch.
  • Coordinate pilot runs, prototypes, and validation activities required for product release.
  • Lead meetings with customers and internal teams, representing the Nogales site.
  • Ensure proper implementation of BOMs, routings, tooling, headcount, and production line definitions.
  • Track and support process transfers between sites, ensuring successful execution.
  • Drive projects to successful completion through mass production readiness.
  • Support compliance with quality, safety, ISO, IATF, RBA standards, and PBM principles.

Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Industrial, Mechatronics, Electronics, Mechanical or related field).
  • Prior experience in roles such as Project Manager, Program Manager, NPI Engineer, Manufacturing Engineer, Quality Engineer, or NPI Manager.
  • Experience in manufacturing, quality, and/or new product introduction environments.
  • Experience managing cross-functional, multidisciplinary projects.
  • Strong organizational, time management, analytical, and results-driven skills.

What Will Put You Ahead

  • Experience with manufacturing line transfers.
  • Experience in medical, automotive, or advanced manufacturing industries.
  • Knowledge of validation processes and medical industry standards (ISO 13485).
  • Advanced English proficiency (customer and global team interaction).
  • Familiarity with project management tools.
  • Availability for occasional travel (approximately once per quarter).
  • Strong negotiation skills, sense of urgency, and execution focus.
