Position Duties:

The position of Project Manager utilizes project management and engineering knowledge to communicate with customers to finalize the details for orders of windows and/or Talon Wall products.  Once the details are complete, they release the project to the manufacturing plants for production.  This is accomplished by working with the team including the customer, estimator, and engineer along with production staff.  The tasks include the following:

Assign duties or responsibilities to project personnel.

Communicate with key stakeholders to determine project requirements and objectives.

Confer with project personnel and/or customers to identify and resolve problems.

Create project status presentations for delivery to customers or project personnel.

Develop and update project plans including information such as schedules, lead times, and potential changes in cost.

Monitor costs incurred as the project progresses through the process.

Use change orders to protect Peerless from “scope creep” as customers make additions or changes to the original details.

Work with project stakeholders, Peerless staff, and/or vendors to ensure smooth flow of raw materials.

Schedule and facilitate project meetings.

Submit project deliverables to customers, ensuring adherence to quality standards.

Position Requirements:

Requires Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field and five (5) years of experience as a Glass Project Engineer, Project Manager or related, plus five (5) years of experience in Talon Wall.

Rate of Pay:

From $110,000 per year. This amount meets or exceeds the prevailing wage as determined by the U. S. Department of Labor.
