Job Description

SUMMARY OF OVERALL PURPOSE

The Marketing Project Manager, under direction of the Vice President of Marketing and Communications is responsible for managing the traffic, production, reporting, and forecasting of all projects that fall under the purview of Marketing and Communications. This role coordinates cross-functional initiatives, oversees project timelines, and maintains strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders. 

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

Project Management and Execution

  • Manage the workflow of the Marketing and Communications Department.
  • Receive, review and process all incoming job requests and ensure that each contains all information required to be actionable and successful.
  • Manage projects according to department operating model, schedule meetings accordingly and leverage internal project management tools to deliver appropriate follow up for Intake, Discovery, Kick Off, and Creative Review meetings.
  • Manage the production schedule to ensure jobs are delivered on time, within budget and on strategy.
  • Lead weekly production meeting to keep internal team consistently updated and on task.
  • Work closely with in-house design and communications resources on all jobs as well as vendors to obtain bids, negotiate pricing, and oversee production and delivery of final product.

Project Analysis

  • Track and report on project performance across multiple platforms for both short and long-term analysis and forecasting.
  • Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation.
  • Work closely with department leadership to establish new and evolve existing workflows to deliver more efficiently and effectively for internal stakeholders.

Relationship Management

  • Take a service first-approach, managing and nurturing relationships with all departments.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with third parties/vendors.
  • Meet and assist internal partners to create detailed briefs and clarify specific requirements of each project.

Additional Responsibilities

  • Process Improvement: Identify and implement process improvements to enhance project efficiency and operational effectiveness.
  • Miscellaneous Tasks: Perform other duties as assigned to support the VP of Village Operations, and project teams.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS OUTSIDE NORMAL WORK ENVIRONMENT

  • Able to lift and transfer 25 lbs without assistance
  • Able to repetitively reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling and stooping.
  • Able to work outdoors in all conditions.
  • Able to work a flexible shift to meet department needs, including availability to work days, nights, weekends and extended hours.
