This role is ideal for someone who can balance schedules, budgets, stakeholder relationships, and team coordination while guiding projects from early concept through completion. Successful candidates will be excited to learn and apply Solid Light's unique approach to project and portfolio management—one that emphasizes flow, collaboration, and shared success across multidisciplinary teams and client partners.

What You'll Do

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients throughout the project lifecycle
  • Learn and apply Solid Light's project management methodology, balancing individual project success with the efficient flow of work across the company's broader portfolio
  • Build and maintain detailed project schedules, budgets, and resource plans
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams including Creative, Design, Fabrication, Multimedia, and Tech
  • Facilitate project meetings, document decisions, and communicate action items to stakeholders
  • Monitor project progress, identify risks, and proactively solve challenges that impact scope, schedule, or budget
  • Collaborate with leadership to optimize staffing, project flow, profitability, and resource utilization
  • Guide project teams through client reviews and approval processes
  • Support the development of proposals, contracts, and project documentation
  • Manage project finances including purchase orders, invoices, receipts, and expense tracking
  • Foster strong communication and collaboration among internal teams, clients, vendors, and subcontractors
  • Help promote Solid Light's values, culture, and commitment to excellence

What We're Looking For

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience
  • Five or more years of project leadership experience
  • Demonstrated success managing complex projects involving multiple stakeholders, disciplines, and deliverables
  • Strong schedule development, planning, and organizational skills
  • Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Openness to learning and embracing a unique project and portfolio management approach focused on team collaboration, workflow optimization, and organizational throughput
  • Ability to translate ambiguous ideas and evolving concepts into clear requirements, actionable plans, and measurable deliverables
  • Curiosity and aptitude for quickly becoming knowledgeable in new subject areas and industries
  • Strong client relationship and stakeholder management abilities
  • Experience managing budgets, contracts, and project financials
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, Adobe Creative Suite, and Microsoft Project Management
  • Exceptional attention to detail and follow-through
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively across teams
  • Ability to translate and disseminate evolving information to multiple different disciplines, ensuring fluid communication
  • Willingness to travel domestically as needed

Why Solid Light

  • Work alongside a collaborative team of creatives, strategists, fabricators, filmmakers, and storytellers
  • Lead meaningful projects for museums, cultural institutions, educational organizations, and public spaces
  • Join a company that values creativity, craftsmanship, curiosity, and collaboration
  • Help transform complex ideas into immersive experiences that leave lasting impact
  • Be part of a team that believes great stories can change how people understand the world

If you're energized by managing creative projects, building strong relationships, and helping teams accomplish extraordinary work, we'd love to hear from you.
