Job Title: Project Manager
Position Summary/Purpose:
To plan, execute, and deliver projects in accordance with client expectations. This includes but is not limited to managing the efforts of internal team members as well as third party contractors or consultants to deliver projects according to plan. Additionally, the Project Manager will define a project’s objectives, oversee quality control, and maintain responsibility for timelines and budgets.
Essential Functions:
- Define and establish project scope, schedule and budget for projects as well as maintain quality control over a project’s lifecycle.
- Serve as a primary point of contact with assigned clients through frequent communication methods and lead client meetings.
- Lead the preparation of civil engineering project proposals.
- Communicate project status and performance to executive leadership.
- Monitor project progress to ensure adherence with contractual agreements.
- Assure project documentation and reporting are accurately maintained.
- Present at public meetings representing the company and client.
- Oversee coordination with clients as well as outside agencies and consultants for procurement of sub-consultant needs and jurisdictional reviews.
- Responsible for invoicing of clients and tracking accounts receivable on a monthly basis.
- Act as a team resource on complex engineering issues.
- Develop and grow business relationships with existing client contacts.

Required Skills/Abilities:
- Strong understanding of site development design principles.
- Experience with:
- AutoCAD Civil 3D
- Stormwater management design
- Utility infrastructure design
- Erosion and sediment control
- Local permitting and development regulations
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and project management software.
Required Education and Experience:
- 7–12+ years of civil engineering experience with a focus on land development.
- 3+ years of project management experience preferred.
- Proven experience managing residential, commercial, and mixed-use development projects.
Licenses:
- Professional Engineer (PE) license required or ability to obtain within a specified timeframe.
