As a Project Manager, you’ll be at the center of this mission—driving coordination, communication, and execution across every stage of the project lifecycle.
About the Role
We are seeking a detail-oriented and collaborative Project Manager to oversee the full lifecycle of substation projects—from contract award through completion. In this role, you’ll coordinate across engineering, manufacturing, logistics, and commercial teams to ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, and to the highest quality standards.
What You’ll Do
- Lead end-to-end project execution for substation orders, including engineering, production, inventory, and delivery
- Act as the primary point of contact for cross-functional teams (sales, engineering, operations, transportation, scheduling)
- Build and maintain detailed project schedules, aligned with manufacturing timelines and material availability
- Partner with engineering on design reviews, drawings, specifications, and approvals
- Manage customer repair workstreams, including pickup, evaluation, quoting, and final disposition
- Track project progress, job closure, invoicing, and change orders
- Identify risks across supply chain, manufacturing, and inventory, and implement mitigation strategies
- Coordinate and support Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT) with customers and internal teams
- Ensure thorough and accurate project documentation, reporting, and closeout deliverables
- Uphold all safety, quality, and compliance standards
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- 2–5 years of experience in scheduling/planning within a manufacturing environment
- Experience using ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Syspro)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel for data analysis
- Strong understanding of safety practices and compliance requirements
- Ability to read and interpret work orders and identify/correct errors
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
